E. coli outbreak traced to bagged spinach; 1 dead, millions of children ecstatic.

"Now if they could only trace E. Coli to liver and onions," said Jeremy, age six, of Peoria, IL.

I can't wait for the official explanation from my licensed nutritionist sister-in-law from San Francisco. In her adenoidal pedantic monotone she'll whine that the evil spinach was, in fact, from Crawford, Texas, the cradle of hell. I can just feel it coming.

I thank my parents for not making me eat liver and onions as a child, because now I like the stuff.

That and chicken livers fried in bacon fat, for breakfast. Mmmm.

Well, Fresno is a Red part of the state run by cattlemen so it must be George Bush's fault. I'd assumed they were fiendishly trying to kill the undocumented Mexican workers who our State Democrats believe should have driver's licenses and the Vote in order to contuinue their election process...
