The Syrian oppo is pretty much in 2 camps, the Free Syrian Army and al-Nursa. Al-Nursa is about as you describe, but the FSA at least makes the pretense of wanting a somewhat-less-horrible gov't.
And as soon as Assad is done, they'll be shooting at each other.
No matter what side we support, 5 will get you 10 that any "Peace" that occurs in Syria will turn out to generate a Bastion of Democracy and Freedom just like Libya, Tunisia and Egypt are today!
At least that's how Obummer sees the results of the "Arab Spring."
No, apparently the military is spending their "2%" on ending the post-duty college program, according to my brother-in-law, who is on it. :/
So, does that mean that all the guys who signed up for the military on the theory that it'd pay for college afterwards get to leave the military now, since they aren't going to hold up their end of the contract? Yeah, I thought not.
Hey, it's ok, they only took away Tuition Assistance from Soldiers and Marines so they could turn around and fun Tuition Assistance for Illegal Immagrants. Gotta make military cuts somewhere!
At least they are saving money on their Libya adventure. They scratched one ambassador and his future pension liability plus building rental.
Heck, with all the money they saved cutting TA, they can afford a couple of guys to spit in all the food at the chow hall.

We have money for all the scumbags,illegals, and enemies. And even a pittance for the legitimate needy. But dump all over our Servicemembers. Deploy them for multiple tours. Expose them to Deadly DU, experimental vaccines, and psychotropic drugs. When will our Admirals and Generals speak up for the troops? I know they have been canning the Good ones. What are they waiting for? Drones and armed bots are coming on-line. DHS buying 2 billion rounds.2700 AFV's? Is it for enemies Foreign, or domestic (the Constituionlist?). Look for a tea party false flag!
