Sunday morning...

Ruger 22/45 and M&P 9. Again.
Gun pic from Sunday morning... which is kinda pointless, because it looks like the gun pic from the range trip before that, and the range trip before that, and the range trip before... well,  you get the point.

I've started shooting videos.

A little Garand time yesterday: http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=LYWv-Mb6cww&feature=plcp

My ego has mixed feelings. Many coolness points for the Garand but mostly it just underscores what a fat, old goober I am.

How's that DeltaPoint working out for you? I'm guessing no reliability issues, any carry issues?

I just bought an M&P 9 with a DeltaPoint and some of those fancy suppressor sights already mounted. It will be fun to play with, but alas, it's leaving to be a father's day present. Dad's eyes are nearing 70 and I hope the DeltaPoint will help him get hits even without his bifocals.

But I am curious how long time irons users convert to the dot. Did it give you any trouble? I've heard a few complaints about trying to track the dot inside the window, since it's moving with the sights. I'm a front sight tracker and I'm curious if this system will give me fits or not.

RevolverRob,

" I'm guessing no reliability issues, any carry issues?"

It's not a carry gun. It's not even a housegun yet. Still T&E'ing it.

One (well two) guns that you KNOW how to run, and run them well... :-)

I swear to St. John (PBUH) that the instant I saw this picture, I thought the post was about Tam making a S'more with little gun- and mag-shaped bits of chocolate.
